Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager
This is a key commercial role where you will take ownership of your own projects and work closely with our Contract Managers to ensure successful delivery.

The Role as a Quantity Surveyor:
You will lead the commercial performance of assigned projects, maintaining strong cost control, ensuring compliance, and supporting excellent client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities for the Quantity Surveyor:
 
* Managing all commercial aspects of projects, including procurement, valuations, variations, and final accounts
 
* Ensuring accurate cost control, forecasting, and commercial reporting
 
* Working closely with Contract Managers, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
 
* Identifying and implementing process improvements and commercial best practice
 
* Supporting compliance with all relevant regulatory, contractual, and safety standards
About you as a Quantity Surveyor:
 
* Proven experience within the construction industry (experience in Passive Fire Protection is advantageous but not essential)
 
* Background in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
 
* Good working knowledge of construction contracts (JCT and/or NEC preferred)
 
* Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail
 
* Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
 
* Proactive, solutions-focused approach to work
