Penguin is currently seeking a highly experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a team on a permanent, full-time basis.. We pride ourselves on transparency and professionalism and are looking for someone who shares these values.

About the Role:

This is a permanent role, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to be part of a growing, well-respected company in the asbestos industry. You will be expected to travel UK-wide, conducting surveys across a wide range of sites-80% of which are commercial.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. Occasional evening/weekend or "working away" requirements will be compensated accordingly.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Conduct asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys in accordance with HSG
264
Produce high-quality reports using company software
Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams professionally
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Represent the company with punctuality, professionalism, and integrity
Travel nationwide as required

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years' dedicated experience in asbestos surveying
BOHS P402 (or equivalent) qualification
Strong commercial survey experience essential
Full UK driving licence
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Must be Essex-based
