Quantity Surveyor

EA Associates are working on behalf of a leading and well-established sub-contractor based near to Chelmsford, who are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to work with a respected contractor delivering high-quality projects across East Anglia & London.

The Role:

* Managing commercial aspects of projects from tender through to final account

* Preparing and submitting valuations and applications for payment

* Cost control, forecasting and reporting

* Managing variations and change control

* Procuring and managing sub-contract packages

* Liaising closely with project managers, clients, and supply chain

* Supporting the commercial director with financial reporting

About You:

* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a sub-contractor environment OR Main Contractor

* Strong understanding of commercial and contractual processes

* Confident communicator with good negotiation skills

* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

* Relevant construction or commercial qualification preferred
