Essex BasedSalary: £38,000 - £45,000

Penguin is currently seeking a highly experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a team on a permanent, full-time basis.. We pride ourselves on transparency and professionalism and are looking for someone who shares these values.

About the Role:This is a permanent role, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to be part of a growing, well-respected company in the asbestos industry. You will be expected to travel UK-wide, conducting surveys across a wide range of sites-80% of which are commercial.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. Occasional evening/weekend or "working away" requirements will be compensated accordingly.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys in accordance with HSG
  264
• Produce high-quality reports using company software
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams professionally
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• Represent the company with punctuality, professionalism, and integrity
• Travel nationwide as required

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' dedicated experience in asbestos surveying
• BOHS P402 (or equivalent) qualification
• Strong commercial survey experience essential
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Must be Essex-based
