Senior Asbestos Surveyor

Overview

Permanent Experienced Asbestos Surveyor – Essex Based. Salary: £38,000 - £45,000. Penguin is currently seeking a highly experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a permanent role offering long-term stability and the opportunity to be part of a growing, well-respected company in the asbestos industry. You will be expected to travel UK-wide, conducting surveys across a wide range of sites – 80% of which are commercial. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm. Occasional evening/weekend or "working away" requirements will be compensated accordingly.

• Conduct asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys in accordance with HSG

• Produce high-quality reports using company software
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams professionally
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• Represent the company with punctuality, professionalism, and integrity
• Travel nationwide as required

• Minimum of 5 years' dedicated experience in asbestos surveying
• BOHS P402 (or equivalent) qualification
• Strong commercial survey experience essential
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Must be Essex-based

• Competitive salary: £38,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience)
