GSL Education are recruiting Nursery Assistants to work across a range of day nurseries in Chelmsford and the surrounding Essex areas. We offer a mix of flexible daily supply (bank staff) and long‑term roles within the same nurseries, giving you the choice and stability you’re looking for.

This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified Early Years professionals or those with hands‑on childcare experience who want flexible, rewarding work in welcoming nursery settings.

• Supporting children aged 0–5 years with play, learning, and daily routines
• Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
• Assisting with activities that support early development and learning
• Working as part of a friendly nursery team to deliver high-quality childcare
• Supporting children’s social, emotional, and physical wellbeing

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is preferred, but not essential
• Recent experience working with children (nursery, preschool, childcare, or similar)
• A caring, reliable, and proactive approach
• Flexibility to work across different nursery settings
• A genuine passion for Early Years and child development
