The Role We're looking for a Sales and Operations Manager to own the day-to-day running of Acuity. This is a high-impact role where you'll be the operational backbone of the company, managing everything from recruiting app users to delivering client projects on time. You'll work directly with the CEO and be responsible for keeping the business running smoothly while we focus on growth and fundraising.
What You'll Do Operations Management Own day-to-day operations across our worldwide deployments Manage operational workflows, ensuring smooth coordination between data collection teams and clients Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks before they impact delivery Build and maintain standard operating procedures as we scale Sales & User Acquisition Drive sales efforts to recruit app users for data collection projects including cold outreach Manage the full sales cycle from outreach to onboarding Build relationships with potential data collectors in our target markets Hit monthly recruitment targets to ensure we have sufficient capacity for client projects Project Management Oversee client projects from kickoff to delivery, ensuring quality and timeline commitments are met Coordinate between data collection teams and clients, managing expectations on both sides Track project progress and proactively communicate status updates Manage our two-stage QA process (AI labeling human verification) to maintain data quality standards General Business Operations Handle administrative tasks Coordinate with our technical team on operational needs or potential new features Support fundraising efforts with operational metrics and reporting Be the go-to person for anything non-technical that needs to get done What We're Looking For Required 2-4 years of operations, project management, or business development experience Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without dropping balls
* Strong sales and business development skills
* with a track record of hitting targets Excellent communication skills, comfortable working across different cultures and time zones Self-starter who can work independently and figure things out without constant guidance Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes typical of early-stage startups Bonus Points Experience in marketplace, gig economy, or crowd sourcing platforms Familiarity with AI/ML or robotics industries International work experience or fluency in additional languages (Arabic, Dutch, or Polish)
Experience with remote team coordination Background in scaling operations at a startup
