Hours:

Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00, Saturdays on a rota 08:00-12:00 | Salary: £36,000 inc Bonus

I'm currently supporting a well‑established automotive retailer in Chelmsford who are looking to add an experienced Tyre Technician to their workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of tyre fitting, maintenance and repair. You'll be working in a busy workshop environment, managing your own workload and ensuring customers receive a professional, efficient service.

• Fitting and replacing tyres
• Wheel balancing
• Wheel alignment
• Puncture repairs
• Working with tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Managing daily job flow and maintaining high service standards

• Previous experience as a Tyre Technician or in a similar role
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
• Confidence using basic computer systems
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good verbal, written and numerical skills
