SHOP MECHANIC

What you’ll do

As a Shop Mechanic, you will work on all makes and models of agriculture equipment in the shop, ensuring repairs are completed accurately and timely. Your work supports our customers by maximizing their equipment uptime.

Each day, you will analyze and diagnose agriculture equipment malfunctions or failures. You will repair, replace or rebuild engines, transmissions, carburetors, final drives, steering, clutches, cross shafts, hydraulic components (including pump motors and valves), electrical systems, and air systems. You will also assist with pre-delivery setup and installation on all makes and models of John Deere equipment and allied products.

What you need
  • 2 or more years of working knowledge of small engines and agricultural equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air conditioning systems.
  • A team-oriented personality with the ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Self-motivation and assertiveness.
  • Must provide own tools.
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: $27-38/hr (Depending on Experience)
