Job Definition
This role coordinates with Quality Assurance to ensure consistent quality production of all products. It is a fast-paced position dedicated to inventory control. This position is responsible for issuing product to the appropriate production lines and ticketing finished product as it comes off the production floor. You must be able to calculate the weight needed, track the weight issued to orders, and move on to the next when there is enough product.
ShiftRotating shifts – availability required for day and evening shifts, overtime (as requested), some holidays and weekends.
PayStarting Pay: $21.35 - $23.55 per hour D.O.E. Position Pay Range: $21.35 - $28.75
BenefitsPermanent, full‑time position benefits include medical, dental, and vision on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Position Responsibilities- Knowledge of quality, resources, and day codes
- Bring computer system online, setting up screens for use, scanning bar code tickets in and out of freezer
- Create and apply bar codes to finished product with proper UPC code
- Manual warehouse bar coding and recording of item coding
- Set up and adjust printers, bar code printers and transaction printers
- Troubleshoot and recognize problems with the computer and inventory
- Monitor quality and product usage
- Send notifications to supervisors or production management regarding product standards
- Issuing product to the appropriate production lines and ticketing finished product as it comes off the production floor
- Calculate the weight needed and track the weight issued to orders
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally)
- Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English
- Ability to effectively multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Availability for a variety of shifts
- Good attendance and performance record
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate computer skills
- Intermediate math skills
