Job Summary

As the Inventory Control, Quality Supervisor, you will play a key execution-focused role in driving inventory accuracy, quality compliance, and adherence to standard operating procedures throughout the fulfillment center. This position is intentionally structured as a hands‑on, floor‑driven role focused on enforcement, validation, and follow‑through, operating under the direction of the IB / ICQC Manager.

The ICQC Supervisor is responsible for identifying gaps, investigating discrepancies, educating teams on quality standards, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented and sustained. This role is critical to maintaining inventory integrity and operational discipline across Receiving, Putaway, Cycle Counts, Picking, and Shipping.

Key Responsibilities
  • IC / QC Execution & Enforcement – Execute and enforce IC/QC standards and processes as defined by the IB / ICQC Manager.
  • Monitor fulfillment operations and product flow to ensure adherence to quality, accuracy, and timing standards.
  • Perform regular sample checks and audits across inbound, inventory, and outbound functions.
  • Support cycle count execution, variance research, and follow‑up to closure per plan.
  • Maintain IC and QC logs and reporting to support trend analysis and issue identification.
  • Root Cause & Corrective Action – Investigate discrepancies, complaints, and quality issues same‑day where possible.
  • Categorize issues by root cause and partner with department leadership on corrective actions.
  • Validate that corrective actions are effective and sustained.
  • Escalate systemic or repeat issues through the IB / ICQC Manager with clear data and recommendations.
  • Floor Presence & Team Support – Maintain a strong, consistent floor presence across Receiving, Putaway, Cycle Counts, Picking, IC, and Shipping.
  • Identify SOP misses in real time and intervene immediately.
  • Coach associates and supervisors on proper procedures and quality expectations.
  • Support cross‑training and step into other operational areas as needed during peak periods, absences, or shifts in priorities.
  • Training, Education & Process Reinforcement – Educate supervisors, managers, and associates on quality processes, inventory standards, and correct procedures.
  • Reinforce expectations through retraining following errors or audit findings.
  • Support documentation updates and continuous improvement of SOPs related to IC/QC.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, quality, and operational discipline.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of warehouse experience, including 3+ years in inventory control and/or quality functions.
  • Supervisory experience in Inventory Quality control preferred.
  • Strong hands‑on leadership and coaching skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with a data‑driven mindset.
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis and validating corrective actions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence across departments.
  • Comfort working cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency with warehouse systems and reporting tools.
Working Conditions
  • Full‑time, on‑site role with schedule flexibility required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Requires regular floor presence and the ability to shift between departments.
  • Fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Must be available to support extended hours during peak seasons.
