Truck Driver - CDL Class A – Penske Logistics
Location:
Chattanooga, TN, US
Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers
- Average $76,826 annually
- Schedule:
Tuesday through Saturday - Home daily, dedicated route
- Perform multi‑stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
- Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
- Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
- Handle 3 stops and 1 transfer per route
- Tuesday through Saturday
- Dispatch at 2 AM
- Late model, Penske maintained trucks

- Valid Class A CDL required; applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or have the ability to obtain, a non‑excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency required (federal law)
- Work the required schedule, at the specified location, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner; ability to accept responsibility for personal and others’ safety
- Must be able to see and hear; required vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit; use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) routinely and up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally
- Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
