As our Founding Software Engineer, you will have a vital role in laying the groundwork for our technology platform. You will shape our technical direction and architecture, contribute to our product roadmap, and build a high-performance engineering culture from scratch.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-performance software using our tech stack.
• Collaborate with founders and other team members to create a tech blueprint and execute our vision.
• Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth.
• Develop new features and infrastructure development in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements.
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.

• Strong experience with our tech stack:
  Frontend (NextJS, React, Tailwind, Typescript, Vercel) and Backend (AWS, Dynamo
  
  DB, CDK, Lambdas, API Gateway, SQS, Amazon Event Bridge Scheduler, Cloud Front, S3, Redshift, Elastic Search, Elastic Cache, and Github Actions).
• Proven experience in building and scaling systems from the ground up.
• Able to navigate ambiguity and make sound engineering decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a relentless drive for quality.
• A team player with top-notch communication skills.

• This is not permanent, however, we would like to hire someone who is Interested in working in Chattanooga for 12 months starting in August 2023 through August 2024 or being out there for some amount of time.
