Carbon Recall Chattanooga is a growing solar and energy storage installer serving commercial and industrial clients. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Electrician to act as a technical lead on solar and electrical projects — someone who takes pride in clean work, safety, and mentoring crews.

This role is ideal for an electrician who wants more ownership, more responsibility, and a clear path to long-term growth in renewable energy.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee and perform electrical work including:
  • AC & DC wiring.
  • Inverters, panels, transformers, EV chargers.
  • Main switches, testing, and commissioning.
  • Lead site crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to code.
  • Ensure installations meet NEC, OSHA, and project standards.
  • Review plans, schematics, and layouts; identify materials and scope needs.
  • Help improve processes, documentation, and best practices.
  • Act as a mentor and resource for junior electricians and installers.
Required Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of hands‑on electrical experience (commercial or industrial preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience with conduit (rigid and EMT).
  • Comfortable working independently and leading others.
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
Preferred Skills
  • Journeyman electrician license.
  • Commercial or industrial solar and battery systems.
  • 480V / 3‑phase systems.
  • Transformer and EV charger installations.
  • DC systems up to 1500V.
  • Medium voltage experience (12kV+).
  • NABCEP certification.
Employee Benefits
  • Competitive pay based on experience (we pay for leadership and expertise).
  • Health insurance options.
  • 401(k).
  • Paid holidays.
  • Long‑term stability with a growing company.
  • Opportunity to help shape the electrical side of a fast‑growing solar business.
