Maintenance Technician – Ridgeway Apartments

Join Elmington Property Management as a Maintenance Technician to keep Ridgeway Apartments running smoothly. This role requires a strong background in plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs, and the ability to respond promptly to service requests.

• Provide exemplary customer service to all residents, proactively solving issues and creating a warm environment.
• Maintain the physical condition of the property, utilizing hand tools and power tools.
• Pick up debris and remove objects from the property.
• Respond to issues outside of the normal work schedule when required.
• Professional and timely responses to all work orders.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Passion for chasing excellence and providing exemplary customer service.
• Strong background in plumbing, general carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Basic computer skills for email and company software.
• Meet task deadlines as assigned.

• Required:
  
  Hold at least one of the following certifications and obtain within 60 days if not certified: EPA Section 608 or HVAC Certification.
• Preferred: OSHA 10 or OSHA 30, CPO, Plumbing or Electrical Licenses.

• Frequently sit, stand and walk; occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
• Regularly required to talk or hear; use hands or fingers to handle tools.
• Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Moderate to high noise level; moderate temperature with seasonal extremes.

Travel up to 10% of the time.
