Part-time Armed Security Officer

This part-time role as an Armed Security Officer will involve ensuring the safety and security of Baylor School’s campus, students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include patrolling the campus, monitoring security equipment, managing access control, responding to emergencies, and enforcing campus policies. The individual may also collaborate with law enforcement and assist in investigating incidents. This is an on-site role located in Chattanooga, TN.

• Ability to perform patrols, monitor security equipment, and manage access control effectively
• Experience with emergency response and incident management
• Knowledge of safety compliance and expertise in enforcing security protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, staff, visitors, and external authorities
• Physical fitness and the ability to remain alert and responsive during shifts
• Valid armed security license and any required permits for the state of Tennessee
• First aid and CPR certification is a plus
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a similar field strongly preferred
