Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Hixson, TN. You will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare and other industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. In this driving post, you will also conduct vehicle patrols and respond to calls with clear communication and strong customer service.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter, to deter unauthorized activity and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, directing foot traffic, and coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and communications equipment; report irregular conditions and/or maintenance issues through the appropriate channels.
• Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions to support consistent site operations.

• At least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Ability to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Ability to restrain individuals as required in a hospital setting.
• Valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
