Industrial Outside Sales Representative - Production Tool Systems of Chattanooga

Are you a self-starter with experience in machining, fabrication, or industrial supply? Do you enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and having control over your day? At Production Tool Systems, we're a small, privately-owned company serving the Tennessee Valley since 1992—now looking for a motivated Outside Sales Rep to grow with us.

This isn't a corporate role-you'll wear multiple hats.

You'll identify needs, build quotes, and own your accounts from start to finish. If you know your way around a shop floor, understand the urgency when machinery goes down, and can confidently sell solutions, you'll fit right in.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in machining, fabrication, industrial supply, or maintenance
• Strong mechanical understanding and confidence in quoting jobs
• Ability to work independently and follow through on pipeline and proposals
• Professional, dependable, and follow-up oriented
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

What You'll Be Doing:

• Call on machine shops, fabrication shops, and industrial plants in the Chattanooga area
• Identify supply needs (tools, safety, MRO, welding, pneumatic equipment) and recommend tailored solutions
• Prepare quotes and manage orders-you're the main point of contact
• Build and nurture strong relationships based on trust and reliability
• Manage your territory like a business owner, with full support from leadership
• Offer feedback and strategic insights to help guide our company growth
