Adhere to and practice the company’s service standards with each customer. Meet both sales and work goals as directed by store management, while following the Policies and Procedures set by the Company. Lead by example in accuracy and completeness of work, inspiring team members. Work together to present the store, merchandise, and yourselves in the best possible light. Control cash and ensure accuracy of sales transactions.
Process all sales and POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy, maintaining strict control of all monies and documentation.
- Create an excellent shopping experience through awareness and company service standards.
Maintain a positive attitude, be willing to serve, and stay well-informed.
Assist with sales and customer service.
Promote company rewards programs and other business initiatives. - Stay informed of current sales promotions.
- Maintain merchandise presentation.
Ensure stock is well-arranged and properly merchandised.
Keep all areas within the store clean and organized. - Develop and maintain product knowledge and fitting skills.
- Be aware of Loss Prevention concerns involving customers and staff.
- Participate in physical inventories, assist with shipping and receiving, and merchandise placement on the sales floor as needed.
- Process sales at the cash register in accordance with policies. Check shoes for mates.
- Handle all sales and POS transactions following established procedures.

Key QualificationsStrong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers and staff.
Basic verbal and non-verbal communication skills, organization, and math skills.
Experience in retail sales, preferably in specialty retail or footwear.
Basic understanding of company policies and procedures.
Basic visual merchandising skills and knowledge of Store Presentation Standards.
