Access Family Pharmacy, located in Hixson, TN, is the largest of a group of family‑owned pharmacies. We offer a myriad of services including a retail pharmacy, sterile and non‑sterile compounding, a long‑term care pharmacy, and an extensive durable medical equipment department. We are looking for a full‑time pharmacy cashier! Our number one priority is our patients and the level of care that we provide them.

Our cashiers are a major part of that, as they are the first and last interaction that patients have when they come into the store. In addition to running cash registers, our cashiers answer phone calls, perform mailing and deliveries, and manage OTC inventory. This position requires someone with great attention to detail and excellent people skills. We’re looking for an outgoing maj who maintains relationships with patients, is reliable, and takes pride in their work.

$13.00/hr - $14.00/hr

This is a full‑time, 40 hours per week position. The schedule will include opening (9:) and closing (7:00pm) shifts (not in the same shift). The position will also require working some Saturdays on a rotating schedule. The pharmacy is open 9:00am – 2:00pm on Saturdays and closed on Sundays.

• At least one year of customer service experience required
• Money handling experience preferred

• Answer phone calls and direct to the correct department if personally not able to assist
• Help customers find items
• Ring up customers and patients (out‑front inventory and prescriptions)
• Manage deliveries, including ringing up deliveries and routing drivers
• Keep shelves stocked, organized, and neat
• Manage shelf inventory
