Research + Program Development Intern

The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer’s mission is to provide a lifetime of free, comprehensive support to pediatric cancer patients and their families through mental, behavioral, educational, and social services, so they can cope in the present and thrive in the future.

The Foundation provides these services through its Education Advancement Center in Chattanooga, TN, as well as virtually, all at no cost to families. Services are funded solely by the generous donations of its supporters.

  Foundation’s office hours: M-Thurs 8:30-5:30;
  Fr 8:30-12:30;
  Intern Hours
  - Flexible based on internship requirements and the Foundation’s hours of operation
• Currently accepting applications for Spring 2026 Term (Jan 12, 2026 – April 17, 2026)
• Learn about the Foundation’s history, vision, mission, and impact
• Promote the company’s vision and create awareness for the Foundation while learning and adhering to Foundation Brand Guidelines
• Prepare, plan, and execute research protocols for in-house research studies
• Become well-versed on the Sim Craft Technology associated with our in-house driving simulators
• Communicate well with IRB entities for approval on research studies
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
• Current enrollment in Master's Program for psychological science, research, or similar
• Past and present involvement in research studies and running research participants.
