Our Client is searching for a Chief Veterinary Medical Officer to join their dedicated team! They are a 24-hour Emergency and Referral facility is a one-of-a-kind specialty animal hospital composed of a cohesive group of experts who values teamwork and client experience. Our Clients hospital is seen as a neighborhood partner and a trusted resource that has the tools to provide advanced diagnostics, evaluation, and treatment.

Competitive Compensation:
Up to $250k base salary plus production.

Generous Bonuses:
Up to $50k sign-on bonus, Up to $10k relocation assistance,Eligible for an annual performance bonus.

Ideal Candidate:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent. Boarded or residency-trained specialists are preferred.

Active veterinary license in the state of TN is preferred, but not required, licensure fees will be covered.

Ideally, 5+ years of ER Veterinary Medicine practice experience.

Prior Medical Director experience.

Currently holds federal DEA licenses or eligible to obtain upon hire.

Proficiency in internal medicine, diagnostics, surgery and emergency care.

Passionate about building and fostering a strong team.

Positive and effective leadership.

Ability to manage staff and outcomes with emotional intelligence.

Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.

Delegation of tasks and achieving results with practice team members.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
