Position: Local Contract Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $50-54 per hour
Health Trust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Unit Specifics:

· Number of Beds : 9 labor rooms, 6 triage rooms, 3 AP rooms, 3 ORs

· Documentation system:
Meditech and Centricity

· Floating policy: possible to float to Mother Baby but not frequently. Will not float to any other department

Must have : 2+ years of L&D experience, preferably 1 or more travel contracts completed

Advanced skills needed: NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring

Procedures performed on unit: cervical exams, IUPC and FSE placement, vaginal deliveries, IV starts with lab draws, circulating cesarean sections, recovering cesarean sections (usually with spinal anesthesia but general anesthesia occasionally),

Certifications

Required:

AWHONN intermediate fetal heart monitoring, NRP, ACLS, BLS

Resource pool, per diem, and travel assignments available as well
