Wound Ostomy II RN

Overview

As our Wound Ostomy Nurse, you will connect our hospital directly to the community, delivering specialized in-home care that empowers patients to heal comfortably and effectively.

• Manage in-home patient visits daily, performing advanced treatments such as PICC line care, wound vacs, and infusions.
• Educate patients and families on complex conditions and treatments.
• Develop and manage staff schedules to assure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist the Director with KRONOS as needed, including staff completion of edit logs and mileage requests.
• Organize and track Wound Center supplies; order as needed.
• Assist with orientation of new staff.
• Support the special needs of each patient in the clinical setting to provide a quality patient care environment.
• Lead staff huddles and inform staff of pertinent information.

• Bachelor of Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and 2 years RN experience, upon hire
• Registered Nurse license: TN, upon hire
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification, upon hire

• Experience in diabetes and/or patient education
• Certified Diabetes Educator, upon hire
