Position: RN Assistant Director of Nursing

Pay: $75,000 - $81,000 yearly, country depends on experience.

• Assist with coordination of the patient care aspects of the hospice program and the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
• Ensure the referral/admission process is completed within Caris Health Care’s customer service standards.
• Assist with assignment and scheduling of patient care staff.
• Supervise periodic reviews of patient medical records, employee visits, and daily activity reports to assure conformance with agency standards, licensure requirements, and professional community health nursing standards; check documentation for accuracy and consistency with payor requirements and company policy.
• Arrange hospice and supportive services.
• Recruit, hire, and direct training of field staff.
• Ensure compliance with Caris safety and disaster plans.
• Ensure employees are trained on occupational exposure.
• Handle staff, physicians, Count?; patient, inter‑departmental complaints and problems, providing accurate and timely follow‑up, and document per company policy.

• Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in fashions operation.
• One (1) year of patient‑care experience in hospice or palliative care, oncology, or home health preferred.
• Working knowledge of hospice program objectives, framework, organization, and function, and payor programs (Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance).
• Basic computer knowledge/skill.
