Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring a TN or compact RN license and advanced fetal monitoring certification.
Responsibilities- Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Care for women during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period
- Assignment duration is 13 weeks
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout labor and delivery
- Participation in holiday coverage may be required depending on schedule needs
- Professional references required for employment consideration
- Must submit complete documentation including application, credential copies, and references as part of the hiring process
- Active TN or compact state RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent Labor & Delivery experience required
- Advanced AWHONN fetal monitoring or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (Advanced 9th Edition) required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
- No gaps in employment of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
- Must reside outside a 50 mile radius from the facility; local candidates not accepted
