Job Description

Utility I – ADM Southern Cellulose Products, Chattanooga, TN. This is a full‑time, hourly level position. Higher‑paid operator positions are chosen from qualified colleagues in this classification; pay wages start at $20.30 + shift differential.

• Load/unload trucks or railcars, bagging, packaging, and handling materials
• Operate wheel loaders, forklifts, skid steers, and similar equipment
• Utilize computerized system to process data
• Perform general housekeeping duties (clean equipment and/or buildings)
• Assist operations personnel, maintenance personnel, and supervisors as needed

• Commitment to ADM’s zero‑injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
• High school education or equivalent preferred
• Regular and prompt attendance
• Physical ability to stand, sit, and work in confined spaces, heights, and varying conditions; lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible in a team setting
• Professional image and respectful attitude at all times
• Previous computer experience beneficial
• Previous experience in maintenance disciplines beneficial

ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.

Hourly pay: $20.30
. Overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. At‑will position; the Company reserves the right to modify base pay as needed.
