Position Summary
Repairs and services mechanical equipment in manufacturing process, laboratories, and offices.
Position Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility and process equipment, including pumps (mag drive, mechanical seal), grinding mills, valves, compressors, and packaging systems.
- Troubleshoot motor control systems and plant instrumentation.
- Maintain mobile equipment such as forklifts and aerial lifts.
- Maintain infrastructure equipment, including steam generation and cooling/chilling systems, ensuring mechanical compliance with state regulations (fire systems, boilers, pollution control).
- Apply fabrication and piping skills, including welding and pipe assembly (preferred).
- Participate in safety and site improvement programs.
$25.10 to $38.23. Compensation for this role is negotiable based on experience and skill set.
Additional Competencies- High School Diploma.
- Technical School Certification or 2-3 years’ experience or equivalent combination.
- Experience in automation or fabrication required.
- Ability to interpret basic mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Experience with Welding and Piping Assembly preferred.
- Have valid driver’s license.
