General Description / Language to Use for Job Postings:
We are Looking for - for a Control Panel Shop Supervisor to join our team. CMA is a UL 508A certified electrical panel shop where we build OEM electrical panels for a wide variety of customers and industries. The Panel Shop Supervisor is accountable for achieving established production goals, including product quality, staff productivity, scheduling efficiencies and the oversight of equipment and downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with sales and project managers to schedule, design, and test electrical panels.
- Direct and lead panel shop staff.
- Build and wire control panels to customer specs.
- Understand Work Instructions and identify parts, constructions, and tools.
- Maintain a safe and clean production area.
- Assist with equipment shipping/receiving responsibilities such as loading and unloading trucks and preparing tested equipment for shipment when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education al
Qualifications:
- High school Diploma/GED
- Vo-Tech/Trade School 1-3 years (Preferred)
Minimum Previous
Experience:
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in electrical panel building
- Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education/work experience
- Must have experience with UL508A standards.
- Must be able to read and understand customer supplied drawings in various formats.
- Must be able to understand, organize, and prioritize work.
- Must have excellent communication skills, strong computer skills, be self-motivated, safety conscious, detail oriented, able to multi-task, ambitious, and have a leader and coaching mentality.
- HS Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must have a valid Driver's license.
- Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
