The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and safety of production equipment and facility systems. This position is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing plastic injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail‑oriented, and eager to apply problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, supporting both preventative and corrective maintenance to keep operations running efficiently.

• B Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (2 on, 2 off, 3 on rotation)
• D Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (2 on, 2 off, 3 on rotation)

• Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Log equipment usage, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality.
• Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and vendor resources to research and diagnose mechanical/electrical problems.
• Diagnose electro‑mechanical and instrumentation equipment using meters, gauges, and other testing methods.
• Troubleshoot non‑functioning components (e.g., servos, sensors, and control components).
• Prepare work areas to ensure tools needed are available and in working order.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems while demonstrating proactive maintenance behaviors and best practices.
• Communicate safety, quality, and production concerns to team leaders and supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with the 5S principles.
• Perform required preventative maintenance job assignments and complete documentation in a timely manner.
• Work with other team members to foster a collaborative work environment.

• Able to perform IML set‑up and troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of Heat Transfer Machine(s) set‑up and troubleshooting
• Understanding of machines and tools, including their uses, repair, and maintenance
• Understanding of how electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic devices work
• Comprehensive understanding of Food safety, GMP, PRP, HACCP, awareness of food contact materials, as it relates to food safety packaging (in applicable facilities)

• High school diploma or G.E.D. (required)

• Required years of experience may vary based on qualifications, skills, and level within the role.

• Able to lift and carry 25–50 pounds frequently
• Able to assist lifting more than 50 pounds occasionally
• Able to perform work while bending, stooping, stretching, and climbing ladders

All work is performed in a manufacturing environment which may be hot or cold and requires the use of PPE at all times (safety glasses, hearing protection where necessary, etc.).
