Works with supervisor to help manage and oversee team members to accomplish daily safety, quality, and manufacturing goals.

• Assist in developing work instructions, training on processes, and supervise daily operations.
• Be prepared to step into supervisor’s position during sickness and vacations.
• Assist with tool room software and documentation, including Nova Time, SAP, and Captor.
• Provide detailed reports for die tryout, crashes, and split investigations.
• Perform daily safety inspections and process audits.
• Read and interpret CAD data and blueprints to customer specifications.
• Apply manufacturing best practices for efficiency, quality, safety, and capability.
• Complete miscellaneous duties and projects as directed by supervisor/manager.
• Perform die setting and other duties as necessary.

• USDOL Certificate of Completion for Tool & Die Maker or 2:1 experience with a 4-year apprenticeship.
• Proof of 6 years related experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a production stamping plant.
• Experience with medium to large tandem line dies, transfer dies, or progressive dies.
• Experience implementing engineering changes.
• Willing to work overtime, including Sundays, to support plant functions.

• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize in high-stress environments.
• Own basic precision tools.
• Willing to work any shift and overtime as required.

• Visual acuity and physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to weather conditions and moderate noise levels.
