Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation is seeking a full‑time General Maintenance Mechanic (PM Shift) to support our mission of “Caring People, Changing Lives.” This is more than just a maintenance role—it’s a chance to directly contribute to the comfort, safety, and healing environment of our patients, families, and staff.

• Perform a wide range of building, electrical, mechanical, and grounds maintenance tasks to ensure continuous facility operations.
• Serve as the primary advisor on mechanical systems and components, keeping everything from pumps to electrical systems in top condition.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain systems with hands‑on problem‑solving that makes a real difference in a fast‑paced environment.

• Education:
  
  High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  2+ years of maintenance‑related experience.
  
  Licensure:
  Valid Tennessee Driver’s License.
• Skills &
  
  Competencies:
  
  Knowledge of electro‑mechanical systems, pump/valve repair, electrical test equipment, HVAC, sheet metal fabrication, soldering, and more. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

• Ability to bend, stoop, lift a minimum of 25 lbs., climb steps and ladders, and walk for extended periods.
• Able to perform under stress, especially during emergency situations.
• Ability to problem‑solve with limited variables in standard situations.
• Strong vision, color vision, and depth perception required.
