Overview

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Chattanooga, TN, 37402

• Pool Maintenance
  • Maintain proper pool chemical levels
  • Perform backwashing and vacuuming
  • Ensure pool area cleanliness and safety compliance
• Guest Room & Preventive Maintenance
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) in guest rooms and throughout the property
  • Change HVAC/AC filters throughout the building
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and correct issues before they impact guests
• Plumbing & Mechanical
  • Standard hotel plumbing repairs including:
  • Plunging and unclogging toilets
  • Repairing or replacing sinks and fixtures
  • Addressing minor leaks and drainage issues
• Grounds & Exterior Maintenance
  • Remove debris and ensure clean, safe exterior conditions
  • Assist with general property upkeep as needed
• Housekeeping Support
  • Change and remove trash throughout the hotel
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness in back-of-house areas
• Work Order Management
  • Utilize Quore to enter and track preventive maintenance, work orders, and assigned tasks
  • Accurately document completed work and follow up on outstanding issues
• Customer Service & Team Support
  • Provide professional, courteous customer service to guests and team members
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests with a guest-first mindset
  • Perform additional duties as assigned outside of the normal maintenance scope when operational needs require

• Previous hotel or hospitality maintenance experience required
• Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC basics, pool maintenance, and preventive maintenance programs
• Experience using Quore or similar hotel maintenance software preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and communication
