Hotel Maintenance Technician (Experienced)

Element by Westin Chattanooga is seeking an experienced Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is critical to maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our guests while upholding Marriott brand standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in hotel maintenance operations with strong customer service skills.

• Maintain proper pool chemical levels.
• Perform backwashing and vacuuming.
• Ensure pool area cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) in guest rooms and throughout the property.
• Change HVAC/AC filters throughout the building.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and correct issues before they impact guests.
• Standard hotel plumbing repairs including plunging and unclogging toilets, repairing or replacing sinks and fixtures, addressing minor leaks and drainage issues.
• Maintain outside areas including patio spaces and parking lot; remove debris and ensure clean, safe exterior conditions; assist with general property upkeep.
• Change and remove trash throughout the hotel; assist with maintaining cleanliness in back-of-house areas.
• Utilize Quore to enter and track preventive maintenance, work orders, and assigned tasks; accurately document completed work and follow up on outstanding issues.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service to guests and team members; respond promptly to maintenance requests with a guest-first mindset; perform additional duties as assigned when operational needs require.

• Previous hotel or hospitality maintenance experience required.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC basics, pool maintenance, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Experience using Quore or similar hotel maintenance software preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and communication.
