IT Project Manager, IT Consultant, Systems Engineer
As a Team Lead for Robotic Automation Processing (RPA) team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of RPA/Intelligence Automation solutions. This pivotal role will manage a team of RPA developers and analysts, participate BCBST internal forums, share recommendations, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including the RPA vendor. This position is responsible for technical mentoring and coaching the team to deliver scalable solutions.
You will also ensure all automation development adheres to the approved BCBST security and Dev Ops guidelines.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a commitment to business stakeholders and a passion for continuous improvement in support of our mission. This position requires occasional travel to the office for face‑to‑face meetings or team events, though much of the role can be conducted remotely.
In this role you will be working with many different systems such as:
- Python, C#, .NET
- UiPath orchestrator, Bots, UiPath Insights, Agentic Units and other UiPath provided tools
- Cyber Ark
- Cloud based tools and Databases
- Google Big Query
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Windows Server 2022 Administration
- Prior experience with one of the RPA tools is required.
- Experience managing technical teams and leading complex RPA programs at scale required.
- Knowledge of Task Mining, process mining, AI integration, Agentic processing, and intelligent automation trends.
- Experience prioritizing process pipeline to deliver identified automations in a cost‑effective manner.
- Experience managing vendor relations.
- RPA tool certification (e.g., UiPath Certified RPA Developer).
- Agile Team Coach, Scrum Master, or Product Owner experience preferred.
- Intelligence Automation experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Azure Dev ops (ADO) preferred.
- RPA tool certification (e.g., UiPath Certified RPA Developer).

- This role requires on‑call support and occasional after‑hours system deployments to ensure the reliability of our critical business functions.
- Manages the day‑to‑day operations of a team with a focus on the maintenance and development of systems and supervising system modifications.
- Assigns, monitors, and reviews progress and accuracy of work. Provides staff management oversight including hiring, promoting, or making recommendations for staff. Conducts performance reviews and assessments, manages performance, engages in skills assessment, and promotes professional development of staff.
- Directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth, and ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
- Ensures adherence to policies, plans, objectives, budgets and staffing allocations.
- Manages and tracks team‑level project details and serves as the technical subject matter expert and provides leadership during periods of transition.
- Employees may be required to participate in a weekly on‑call rotation.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Sciences related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5 year - Experience with information technology concepts, application development and/or enterprise system maintenance methodology, terminology, and standards required.
- 5 years – Systems maintenance and/or programming experience required.
- 3 year - Expert working knowledge of at least one programming language and/or one enterprise system in use at BCBST.
- Knowledge of information technology concepts, methodology, terminology, and standards.
- Proven Skill to develop and/or maintain an enterprise IT system.
- Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in one or more enterprise IT systems.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Microsoft Office and email skills are required.
- Adaptive to high pace and changing environment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical co‑workers.
- Must be willing to adjust schedule to plan and perform maintenance and upgrades outside of business hours and be part of an on‑call rotation.
