Overview

With multiple McDonald’s locations across North Georgia, North Alabama, and the Greater Chattanooga area, we are seeking an experienced Technology Technician (OTP) to oversee, support, and optimize all restaurant technology systems across our organization.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on McDonald’s technology experience who enjoys problem-solving, improving systems, and being the go-to technology partner for restaurant leadership.

- Serve as the primary technology expert for all assigned McDonald’s restaurants.
- Support, troubleshoot, and maintain McDonald’s systems including:
- POS / KVS systems.
- Back-office technology.
- Digital ordering, kiosks, and delivery platforms.
- Networking, cabling, and hardware coordination.
- Partner with McDonald’s approved vendors and technology support teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Ensure restaurants are compliant with McDonald’s technology standards, updates, and security requirements.
- Support new restaurant openings, remodels, equipment installs, and technology rollouts.
- Train and support restaurant leadership teams on proper technology use and basic troubleshooting.
- Proactively identify technology risks, inefficiencies, or improvement opportunities.
- Respond promptly to urgent technology issues that impact restaurant operations.
- Previous McDonald’s experience (required) (OTP or equivalent experience strongly preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of McDonald’s restaurant systems and infrastructure.
- High comfort level with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ability to communicate clearly with GMs, supervisors, vendors, and support teams.
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple locations and priorities.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Flexible availability — technology issues don’t always follow a 9–5 schedule.
