The Zscaler Engineer Senior will oversee implementation, management, and optimization of Zscaler security solutions within our organization. This role involves working closely with various teams to ensure the security and performance of our network infrastructure, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents.

• Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions to protect our network infrastructure.
• Monitor and manage security configurations for Zscaler services.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits of network environments.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams to ensure secure deployment and management of network resources.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches involving Zscaler solutions.
• Implement and manage security policies and configurations within the Zscaler platform.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC
  2).
• Provide guidance and training to internal teams on Zscaler security best practices.
• Keep current with Zscaler security trends, threats, and technologies.

• Solid understanding of Zscaler security solutions, including ZIA and ZPA.
• Proficiency in configuring, managing, and optimizing Zscaler services.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and industry standards.
• Ability to implement and manage security controls in network environments.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent documentation skills, including procedures and user documentation related to IAM applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network security or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of Zscaler security solutions and their features.
• Experience with network security tools and technologies.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC
  2).
• Strong understanding of network security, identity and access management, and encryption.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP), CISSP, or equivalent are a plus.

• Professional certifications in Zscaler, such as Zscaler for Users - Essentials.
• Familiarity with additional cloud security technologies and tools, beyond Zscaler, such as CSPM, Data Protection, AI, etc.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Power Shell, or Bash for automation and configuration management.
