Hotel General Manager

Overview

Gecko Hospitality (Corporate) is seeking a passionate, organized, and results-driven Hotel General Manager to lead our team of hospitality professionals in the Chattanooga, TN area.

• Responsible for all aspects of hotel operations, day-to-day staff management and guest satisfaction; ambassador for the brand; provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of service culture, maximize operations, and guest satisfaction.
• Manage the hotel's management team and overall targets to deliver an excellent guest experience; balance profitability with guest satisfaction measures.
• Experience in all primary hotel departments including General Management, Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage, Finance, and Rooms.
• Must be results-driven and experienced in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Proven ability to manage results through Department Heads via team building and leadership.
• Demonstrated track record of financial accountability to the property management group and ownership.
• Ability to communicate corporate goals and execute company objectives to management, peers, and employees.

• The Hotel General Manager should always be able to provide consistent support for the operation's success.
• Minimum two years’ experience as a Branded Hotel General Manager, preferably Hilton or Marriott
• The Hotel General Manager must have a proven track record in the hotel industry demonstrating achievement of outstanding profit and guest service-related goals.
• The Hotel General Manager must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
