Job Summary:
The Client Portfolio Manager and Senior Investment Analyst is a hybrid, client-facing position integrating advanced investment research with direct portfolio management responsibilities. This role acts as both a strategic advisor and analytical expert, designing, implementing, and communicating customized investment strategies aligned with each client's unique goals.
Combining rigorous research, sophisticated modeling, and hands‑on portfolio construction, this position serves as a trusted steward of client assets while contributing meaningfully to the firm's Investment Committee and overall investment strategy. The role requires deep analytical capability, strong interpersonal communication, and the ability to translate complex market insights into clear, actionable guidance for clients and internal teams.
Responsibilities Client‑Facing Portfolio Management- Assess client goals, risk tolerance, and constraints to design tailored investment portfolios.
- Communicate proactively with clients regarding markets, performance, and economic trends.
- Convey the firm's investment philosophy and process clearly.
- Educate clients on opportunities, expectations, and long‑term objectives.
- Participate in and lead prospect meetings and client onboarding.
- Serve as a subject matter expert translating complex data into accessible insights.
- Conduct research across equities, fixed income, alternatives, currencies, commodities, and global macro.
- Build predictive models; perform quantitative and qualitative research.
- Develop recommendations and present insights to the Investment Committee.
- Perform due diligence on third‑party managers and vehicles.
- Monitor economic, corporate, and geopolitical trends to guide portfolio decisions.
- Oversee construction, rebalancing, and implementation aligned with client objectives.
- Develop and execute investment processes, asset selection, and tactical shifts.
- Provide analysis on individual stocks and managed funds/ETFs.
- Execute risk‑management strategies and adjust proactively.
- Monitor regulatory and market changes affecting strategy.
- Work with Wealth Advisors to ensure strong portfolio design and client experience.
- Collaborate with analysts, fund managers, and traders for deeper insights.
- Contribute to the Investment Committee and model development.
- Support advisors with timely client‑related deliverables.
- Deep expertise in investment/portfolio theory, global markets, and instruments.
- Strong portfolio construction, performance analysis, and risk management skills.
- Highly analytical with strong trend‑detection and pattern‑recognition capability.

- Background/credit check required.
- Series 65 or qualifying exam required.
- CFA designation or active progress toward the charter.
- MBA or related graduate degree.
