• Handling tax in such a large, sophisticated organization takes more than just a technical understanding of current tax practices. As a Sales and Use Tax Manager, we will look to you to apply your knowledge to a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes to some very complex issues.
• We’ll look to you to provide up-to-date tax advice that clients can rely on, and you’ll work in a highly collaborative culture where listening to and sharing information with colleagues is essential.
• Our tax function is constantly evolving; you’ll take on new skills and responsibilities as they arise, with mentors and training programs to support your development.

We’re interested in people with initiative who are not afraid to speak up, with a genuine desire to make things better across the business. You’ll need strong software skills and the ability to handle complex data from multiple sources. If you’re ready to further build on your reputation as a professional advisor, this role is for you.

• An achieved CPA qualification, certification as a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, CMI designation, or be a member of a state bar

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
• Professional knowledge in a broad range of sales and use tax processes, concepts and tools
• Experience managing budgets, people and projects
• A proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization
• Technical writing and research experience in a tax context
• The ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects
• Strong influencing skills, and the confidence to question existing processes
• Willingness to travel as needed and working in a balanced hybrid environment

• We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $105,100 to $192,600. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $126,100 to $218,900.
  
  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
• Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
