- Prepare and review federal and state corporate income tax returns.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, including related SEC disclosures.
- Research and analyze changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.
- Collaborate closely with the Tax Manager and external auditors to support SEC reporting requirements.
- Assist with IRS and state tax audits by preparing required documentation and responses.
- Support tax planning initiatives to enhance compliance and optimize the company’s tax position.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation using One Source and other tax technology tools.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of corporate tax experience, preferably with a publicly traded company or public accounting firm.
- Hands-on experience with SEC reporting, ASC 740, and corporate tax compliance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
- Proficiency with One Source or similar corporate tax compliance software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
