- Lead tax planning projects for a diverse client base and provide up-to-date tax advice.
- Lead teams and collaborate in a culture that values listening and information sharing.
- Analyze evolving portfolios of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
- Identify opportunities and risks and communicate them to clients.
- Research market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
- Build client relationships with knowledge of real estate, hospitality, and construction industries.
- Develop clear, intelligent plans to improve clients tax activities.
- Understand clients business operations and tailor advice to their needs.
- Supervise a motivated team, ensuring skill development and opportunities for growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline.
- Seven to ten years of real estate tax experience in a professional services environment.
- Extensive knowledge of real estate tax, including partnership taxation, REITs, partnership allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, and structuring.
- Experience managing budgets, people, and projects; strong business development within the market.
- Proven track record in a professional services or tax organization.
- Technical writing and research in a tax context; ability to prioritize multiple complex projects.
- Strong influencing skills and confidence to question existing processes.
- Willingness to travel as needed and prefer a balanced hybrid environment.
- CPA qualification or state bar membership.

- The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $120/hr to $150/hr individual salaries are determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
