EY serves high-profile, national and multinational clients, providing a range of domestic and international transactional tax planning services and tax-related advisory services. Our Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory Services (TARAS) practice assists companies with all aspects of their financial reporting for income taxes including tax accounting, tax provision procedures, and controls design and testing.
OverviewAs a Seasonal Senior Manager, you will provide clients with tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning (internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, carve-out financial statements, GAAP conversions from US GAAP to IFRS or IFRS to US GAAP, share-based compensation, financial statement restatements and balance sheet remediation of tax accounts). You will assist with all aspects of the tax provision preparation and may review tax provision processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the control environment, including assessment of tax risk and control environments beyond Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.
Responsibilities- Provide tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning.
- Assist with preparation and review of tax provision.
- Review tax provision processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Assess tax risk and control environments, including SOX-related considerations.
- Engage in internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, carve-out financial statements, and GAAP conversions (US GAAP IFRS).
- Manage balance sheet remediation of tax accounts and related processes.
- Support Real Estate tax accounting and related advisory work as applicable.
- Strong technical knowledge in tax accounting and tax provision process
- Ability to enhance processes and controls
- Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage large engagements and build client relationships
- Real Estate experience is a plus
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field; MST, MAcc, or JD/LLM preferred
- Valid US CPA license or active state bar membership
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience in professional services, tax organization, law firm, or IRS
- Broad understanding and experience with federal income taxation
- Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail
Experience with ASC 740, Real Estate, and/or IAS 12, and corporate tax planning and compliance; broad exposure to federal income taxation in a corporate or industry setting.

CompensationThe salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $120/hr to $150/hr individual salaries are determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
