We have an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified Civil Engineer in the Water and Wastewater Engineering field that is capable of designing water and sanitary sewer pump stations for transporting and distributing water and wastewater. Key responsibilities include conducting hydrological and hydraulic analyses, developing plans that ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Strong skills in technical analysis, project management, problem-solving, and communication, along with a foundation in engineering, are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
System Design:
Design and oversee the construction of wastewater and water pumping stations, and distribution networks.
Technical Analysis:
Perform hydrological and hydraulic analyses using simulation software to model water flow and identify operational efficiencies.
Compliance & Regulations:
Ensure all water and wastewater systems comply with environmental regulations and standards to protect public health and the environment.
Project Management:
Manage projects from conceptualization to completion, including developing work plans, managing budgets, and coordinating with contractors and government agencies.
Data Management & Modeling:
Gather, analyze, and model water use data to forecast demand and manage water resources effectively
Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- 10 Plus years of Water/Wastewater Design
- Extensive experience with Sanitary Pump Station Design
- CAD expertise
- PE
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to assist with business development for projects
