Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturing client in the Chattanooga, TN area to find a full-time Controls & Automation Engineer to design, program, and support industrial automation and control systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
- Support automation projects: design, installation, commissioning, startup
- Develop electrical schematics, control logic, and documentation
- Diagnose equipment issues; optimize system performance
- Coordinate with vendors, integrators, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards
- Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field
- Experience with PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
- HMI/SCADA programming experience
- Industrial automation, manufacturing, or process control background
- Strong troubleshooting and project coordination skills
- Robotics, motion control, or vision system experience
- AutoCAD Electrical or similar design tools

Pay Details$65,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
