Design Project Manager – Data Center Design

USA (role can be based anywhere in the USA; travel up to 30% domestically)

When you think of data centers, think of Arcadis! We are collaborating with some of the world's largest data center providers and are growing our American Places group. We seek experienced Data Center Design Project Managers to lead hyperscale data center projects across the United States.

• Facilitate client requirements for the design of hyperscale data centers throughout the United States
• Manage the design process from campus planning/basis of design through issuance of construction drawings; create a shared plan for design execution, oversee construction administration services, coordinate procurement, issue and administer change orders, and provide engineering information to vendors and suppliers
• Build strong positive relationships with internal and external teams, communicate clearly, and ensure project milestones and deadlines are met
• Travel to project sites and client meetings as needed (up to 30% of schedule)
• Ensure project deliverables meet milestone, deadlines, and are presented in the format required by the final client and related teams

• 10+ years of project design experience with data center designs, or large complex construction projects such as hospitals, high‑rises, laboratories, manufacturing plants, or high‑power plants
• Experience working with multidisciplinary internal and external teams and with final client teams
• Experience preparing project plans, technical specifications, project implementation schedules, and coordinating teams
• Experience utilizing Autodesk Platforms:
  Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or Building Information Modelling (BIM) engineered solutions
• BA in Architecture or Engineering, or related field; preferred licensure (PE, NCARB, RA) strongly preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects with evolving priorities in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment

$80,461 – $132,761 (actual salaries vary by experience, education, budget, and location)
