About Us:

We are a small manufacturing firm that produces high quality products for mining and industry. We have 11 divisions in the US and Canada. This is a full-time position working at our Chattanooga, Tennessee division.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented individual with hopeful expertise in AutoCAD or Solid Works software. The ideal candidate should have experience in a manufacturing environment working with equipment, tooling, and machinery. We’re looking for a technically minded individual that can work with shop personnel and customers. We’re seeking a self-starter, who can work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and create detailed engineering drawings.
  • Develop 3D models for 3d printing and drawings, and tooling.
  • Design tooling for multiple products and processes.
  • Collaborate with others in the company and outside vendors to ensure product design specifications.
  • Assist in programming CNC machinery.
  • Prepare documentation, programming code, job paperwork, and other specifications for new and existing manufacturing processes.
  • Work with customers on sales of perforated metal products.
Qualifications:
  • Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with CAD systems. Experience with Solidworks is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Familiarity with industrial machinery and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
