ResponsibilitiesRole Summary:
- Manage all aspects of project progress for assigned vehicles.
- Coordinate with involved departments to prepare milestones according to the product development process.
- Analyze deviations and develop countermeasures collaboratively with the cross-functional team.
- Implement decisions from product committees to meet cost, timing, and quality objectives.
- Balance project considerations by challenging departments and preparing evaluation reports for product committees regarding timing, costs, customer needs, competition, and quality.
Role Responsibilities:
- Steer and monitor all tasks aligned with OEM PEP in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Initiate cross-functional teams to achieve milestones per OEM PEP.
- Drive progress, involve departments, and prepare decision papers considering technical, commercial, quality, market, and competitive factors.
- Participate actively in Product Teams to support decision-making and ensure timeliness and quality of input.
- Present key points to corporate committees.
- Prepare briefings for top management.
- Gather and analyze competitor information from all available sources.
- Execute assigned tasks and projects efficiently.
Specialized Skills:
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Expertise in R&D, production, logistics, quality assurance, purchasing, finance, or sales.
- Knowledge of automotive retail operations, industry trends, manufacturing.
- Experience or qualification in product or project management.
- Previous team leadership experience.
- Effective communication skills across diverse cultures within a global company, including factories, corporate, field, and dealerships.
Years of Experience:
- 3-5 years in automotive or related industries.
- Over 3 years in automotive product or project management.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Engineering), Business, or equivalent.
- Advanced degree preferred.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with German OEMs.
- German or Spanish language proficiency.
