Power Delivery Team Lead – HDR
Join HDR as a Power Delivery Team Lead. You will guide a talented team of engineers and EITs while driving client relationships and business development in the Power sector.

Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor a team of substation engineers and EITs
- Develop proposals and fee estimates for new projects
- Lead client engagement and business development efforts
- Coordinate the work of the power design team through schematic design, development, and contract documentation phases
- Establish meetings and participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance
- Manage workload and schedules to deliver projects on time
- Conduct on-site work sessions with Project Managers and other disciplines
- Review project documents for conflicts and ensure seamless integration across disciplines
- Write and edit project specifications
- Coordinate with other teams on addenda, RFIs, and change orders, and incorporate agreed changes into project documents
- Provide construction contract administration as needed
- Perform QA/QC reviews on work by Engineers, Project Coordinators, Designers, or BIM Technicians
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support project success
- Master’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector
- Previous experience with an engineering consulting firm
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license)
- Previous experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office as well as standard Power Market Sector design software (examples include PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Auto Pipe, and Revit)
