Responsibilities- Leads electrical design of multi-discipline projects.
- Provides technical design on projects and solutions to engineering and technical challenges.
- Designs electrical systems for facilities projects including water/wastewater treatment, commercial, federal, DOD, utility, and industrial facilities.
- Prepares calculations and analyses of electrical and lighting systems.
- Reviews designs for quality assurance.
- Mentors junior engineers.
- Cultivates strong relationships with clients and project managers.
- Reviews contractor submittals and responds to questions during construction.
- Performs site visits during design or construction when needed.
- Additional responsibilities as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
- Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience required; 5-8 years preferred.
- Experience with design of automotive manufacturing, tire manufacturing, and water/wastewater treatment a plus.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job-related manuals and documents.
- Revit proficiency is preferred.
- Knowledge of SKM or ETAP for Electrical Studies.
- Knowledge of AGI
32 for lighting photometric calculations.
